Vocations Information
Wondering whether you are being called to the ministry?
There are so many ways to express your sense of call. You could work as a chaplain or lay person in prison or hospital ministry. Could you be a Missioner in Work and Economic Life? Have you gifts in administration, music, children’s work, pastoral care, or spiritual direction. Has God called you to the priesthood, overseas mission, or to become a Licensed Lay Worker ?
The Diocesan Web site provides information about the great variety of ministries, paid and unpaid, in the Church of England. You can use them to find out more about ministry in our own Diocese and there are links to other Anglican pages along with news of forthcoming events in your area. www.oxford.anglican.org/ministry/vocations
