Bishop’s Mission Orders
Background information
The Bishop of Buckingham, the Rt Rev Alan Wilson has received an application from the Rev Frog Orr-Ewing on behalf of The Latimer Minster to be considered for Bishop’s Mission Orders under Part 5 of the Dioceses Pastoral and Mission Measure 2007 and according to the guidelines drawn up by the House of Bishops in January 2008. A link to the flowchart of the process is given below. The boxes in red indicate those parts of the process that have been completed.
In order to facilitate the consultation process (yellow boxes) Rev Derrick Carr has been appointed Bishop’s Visitor. The Bishop’s Visitor will conduct a process of consultation with the Deanery Clergy, with Ecemenical partners and with Latimer Minster representatives. It is envisaged that the consultation part of the process will be completed by the end of February 2012. Links to relevant documentation are given blelow.
